All take-home tooth whitening profits are being donated to RVH!

News flash:
Effective immediately, Dr. Elston Wong Dentistry will be donating all profits from take-home tooth whitening to RVH, or more accurately, RVRHC (Royal Victoria Hospital is no more, now to be known as The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.)
Once a year, the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation will be given a cheque on behalf of the staff and patients of Dr. Elston Wong Dentistry, and directed to assign the funds to the department of dentistry.
We feel it’s a great way to give back to the community while also getting something out of it yourself! And we feel that it’s better than promoting “free whitening” or some other benefit that doesn’t help more broadly. Our fees for whitening will not change.
Please keep in mind that this offer applies only to take-home whitening (which is our most popular kind anyways), and we will offer the same follow-up as we would normally provide.
Here is an article from the Academy of General Dentistry on tooth whitening. When you whiten at home, the effects will be just as good and lasting as in-office whitening. The cost is lower, and the risk of sensitivity seems to be less as well! (The main advantage of in-office whitening is the rate of whitening. It is certainly much quicker, for those who need the immediate boost, or those who don’t feel they can tolerate or remember to wear the at-home whitening trays. )
Enjoy your whiter smile, and feel better about it knowing that you’ve helped someone else as well!
